Dinyar Contractor was known for his roles in Baadshah as Casino Manager, in Khiladi as Principal, Khichidi, Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma. The actor passes away at the age of 79 on Wednesday early morning. He has been suffering from various age-related illnesses. Dinyar Contractor's last rites will be performed later in the day at Worli at 3.30pm.
Earlier this year, Contractor was awarded the coveted Padma Shri Award by the President of India, Ramnath Kovind. He was a popular theatre actor and a film personality whom the audience will remember for the longest time. Also, how can we forget his evergreen show, Hum Sab Ek Hai.
